God of War’s free New Game Plus mode is now live and adds new Valkyrie and Realm Tears updates, among other features.
As detailed on PS Blog, Valkyries are tougher than before in NG+ as they now have different attack patterns. Timed Realm Tears are also being introduced – you won’t be able to run away from combat once you open a rift, forcing you to battle Hel-Vikens and Revenants.
Forging new armor sets for both Kratos and Atreus will be an option, which offers new gameplay abilities such as a chest piece that creates massive explosions whenever you stomp on Health or Rage stones.
