Diego Perez – “Outside of its stunning setting, Assassins Creed Mirage doesnt have anything exciting or new to offer. Its a mixture of the worst parts of classic and modern Assassins Creed, sacrificing both storytelling and exploration in an attempt to appease fans from both eras. The story takes a backseat to gameplay, which is disappointing since Basims personality gets very few opportunities to shine throughout the games 15-hour runtime, and the core gameplay loop is repetitive and unsatisfying. Theres still some fun to be had in Mirages richly realized world, but as it stands, its my least favorite Assassins Creed in quite some time.”
