Focus Home Interactive and Douze-Dixièmes announced today at The Game Awards 2020 that Shady Part of Me is available… right now! The puzzle adventure is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). If you’re looking to get in right away, there is a 10% discount on the title until December 24.
The game is a puzzle adventure starring a little girl and her shadow. The concept is that you can swap between the girl and her shadow at any time to solve challenges and find solutions. If you can’t tackle an obstacle as the girl, perhaps the shadow can handle it. Many of the conundrums involve light, darkness, and perspective switching. The game’s watercolor aesthetic keeps things quite dreamlike as you discover new environments and strange mysteries.
Focus Home Interactive announced the partnership with Douze-Dixièmes earlier this year in October.
