Some of the Black Friday prices on video games are already live. I’ve made sure to note which ones are available now and which ones are still coming, but when Black Friday week rolls around, all bets are off. Expect to see some savings go live before their advertised dates.
Black Friday is here. It all kicked off with the Walmart Black Friday sales flier preview drop, and now Amazon Black Friday week is underway. We’re going to keep updating this page through Black Friday and into Cyber Monday savings, so go ahead and bookmark it now and keep checking back.
Walmart also confirmed it will have PS5 and Xbox Series X available for online purchase at 7 PM ET on November 25.
Black Friday Video Game Deals
Good news: this year is chock-full of Black Friday video game savings. Walmart confirmed a huge selection of first-party Nintendo Switch games will be $30, and competitors are sure to price match, plus there are already tons of other games for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on sale.

Black Friday PS5 Deals
PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now subscriptions are marked down.

Walmart will have PS5 available for order online starting at 7 PM ET on Wednesday, November 25. Availability is about as exciting as we can expect for Black Friday on the year of its release. It’s not going to be easy to get yourself a PS5, but I can personally attest to the fact it is possible to order and receive a PS5 from Walmart, because that’s where I got mine. Just keep trying until it works.
GameStop will also have PS5 available, but in limited supply and in-store only. Keep an eye on Amazon and Best Buy, just in case.

PlayStation Plus is also on sale for Black Friday at all the major retailers, and if you don’t have PS Plus yet, remedy that. It’s great, especially if you have a PS5.

The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima are already marked down to their Black Friday prices, as well as plenty of other games.

Walmart
Here are Walmart’s advertised Black Friday prices. Walmart’s Black Friday event officially kicks on Wednesday, but we’re already starting to see prices go live.

Black Friday Nintendo Switch Deals
In addition to all the great games on sale for $30, the Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle with 3-months of Nintendo Online is coming back this year, in an updated form, to all the major retailers. The Switch included with the bundle is the latest model (last year’s included the older one) and the Nintendo Online trial is new. The Nintendo Switch Black Friday deal bundle is scheduled to go live beginning Sunday, November 22 at Best Buy, while GameStop and Walmart’s deals both go live on Wednesday.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Amazon begin its Nintendo Switch deal on Sunday, too. Also keep an eye out for Nintendo Switch bundles at Amazon beyond just the Mario Kart version. In years past, Amazon’s offered eShop and microSD card bundles, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them this year.

Black Friday Xbox Series X Deals
If you’ve been striking out on Xbox Series X, the good news is Walmart is offering them online beginning November 25 at 7 PM ET (same as the PS5).
GameStop might have the absolute best Game Pass deal on Black Friday, but it’s only for the one day and it’s limited to one per customer. If you have a new Xbox, or even if you have an Xbox One, absolutely do not miss this deal. Otherwise, the other retailers’ deals on Game Pass are still pretty excellent, and given just how great the service is, getting it on sale is even better.
