Wizards of the Coast has announced this year’s D&D Live event, titled Roll w/ Advantage, will take place June 18-20. This year’s event will not only reveal the new Dungeons & Dragons adventure coming out in late 2020, but also help raise money for Red Nose Day, a charity working to fight child poverty across the globe.

The announcement came alongside a trailer highlighting some of the celebrity guests and players that will be taking part in this year’s festivities. Famous faces like David Harbour (Stranger Things, Black Widow), Brandon Routh (Superman Returns, Scott Pilgrim), and Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley) will be joining longtime D&D celebrity superfans Deborah Ann Woll (Netflix’s Daredevil, True Blood), Janina Gavankar (Star Wars Battlefront II, The League), Brian Posehn (Mr Show), and Matthew Lillard (Scream, Hackers).

People all over the world continue to stay safe by staying home, the announcement reads, but that doesn’t mean the adventuring has to stop. Dungeons & Dragons provides a unique opportunity to adventure with friends without leaving your front door. Help celebrate that spirit of togetherness this year at D&D Live 2020: Roll w/ Advantage. We’re bringing D&D’s brightest stars to this virtual table to preview the latest D&D storyline with live gaming sessions, all while raising money for Red Nose Day to help children affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. Watch live as big personalities play elves, wizards, and fighters and embark on epic quests!

You can visit the Dungeons & Dragons website for a full schedule of the event, which will be broadcast for free on the D&D YouTube and Twitch channels. The event also features unique D&D apparel – which seems to hint, along with some art, that the adventure will be set in a frozen climate – the proceeds of which will go to Red Nose Day, and the D&D team has also released a new digital short-form adventure to benefit the charity as well (or you can donate directly here).

JR is a Senior Editor at IGN, and can’t wait to see what this year’s adventure is. He’ll probably holler about it a lot on Twitter.
