Despite ongoing concerns regarding the temporary closure of Japanese ratings board CERO, retro-enthusiasts Hamster continue to announce new titles that are headed to its expansive Arcade Archives range at some point in the future.

In a recent Arcade Archiver live stream, the publisher announced that the coming months will see the release of platform classic BurgerTime (1982), top-down racer Burnin’ Rubber (1982), obscure sci-fi shmup Darwin 4078, and finally the notoriously weird beat-’em-up Trio The Punch: Never Forget Me. All of the above were confirmed for Nintendo Switch.

No specific dates were revealed for any of these releases, but given that we’re still waiting on the March-announced trinity of Konami classics Sunset Riders, Gradius, and Trigon,  coupled with the ongoing CERO issues, Hamster’s weekly schedule might be a little fragile for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, this week’s release is 1984 shmup Tube Panic, and is available to download now on Nintendo Switch.
