A new female-led Star Wars series is in the works at Disney+ from Russian Doll co-creator Leslye Headland, Variety reports.

Details are sparse, but sources tell Variety “it will be a female-centric series that takes place in a different part of the Star Wars timeline than other projects” Headland is reportedly attached as showrunner and writer on the new series.

Disney+ is currently home to The Mandalorian, which will premiere its second season this October, and the final season of animated hit Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The streaming service is also developing live-action Star Wars projects centered around Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Rogue One’s Cassian Andor (Diego Luna).
