For the second consecutive month, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was the best-selling game in the U.S., topping high-profile November releases Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Pokemon Sword and Shield, according to NPD Group.
Fallen Order was the second best-selling game of November 2019, followed by Pokemon Sword, Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield Double Pack, and Pokemon Shield. As noted by NPD, if the sales of all three Pokemon releases were combined, it’d place second on November’s list of best sellers.
Pokemon Sword and Shield combined “to achieve the highest launch month dollar sales of any Pokemon release in U.S. history.” The previous record holder was Pokemon Sun and Moon. Be sure to check out our Pokemon Sword and Shield review for more.
