Star Trek Discovery: Away Mission is a new multiplayer location-based full-body VR experience that builds upon Oculus tech, similar to Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire at The Void. We went and tried it out at the new downtown San Francisco location, opening November 13.
Check out the video above for impressions from two members of our four-person away team. And yes, in case you’re wondering: you do get to beam up (the effect is enhanced by force feedback in your vest and fans that blow on you from overhead)!
