Final Fantasy XIV is getting a live-action TV series adaptation, but it wasn’t the only Final Fantasy title considered for a small screen makeover. While we think the FFXIV universe absolutely deserves a show, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Hivemind, the production company behind the Final Fantasy adaptation (which is also responsible for Amazon’s The Expanse and Netflix’s upcoming The Witcher series), did also consider adapting Final Fantasy 7 to live-action.
