While visiting Game Freak for our latest cover story on Pokémon Sword And Shield, we spoke with the new game’s art director James Turner about the history of the Galar region and how his experience in the U.K. influenced the design. Thankfully, we also had time for Turner to show and explain his process for drawing Pokémon. Watch the video above to see Turner draw Vanillite and talk about his unexpected journey to working at Game Freak.
