Marvel has officially announced a Hawkeye series for Disney+. The series will star Jeremy Renner in the titular role, with a premiere date set for fall 2021. Kate Bishop has also been confirmed, but no casting details were given. Marvel boss Kevin Feige promised to “explore more of his time as Ronin.” In Avengers: Endgame, we got a brief glimpse of Renner as Ronin, who was in a dark place after losing his family to Thanos’ snap.
While a new live-action Hawkeye series has been rumored to be in development over at Disney for a few months now, this is the first official confirmation we’ve received from Marvel.
