We haven’t even gotten to E3 2019 yet but we’re already getting big gaming announcements. Sega revealed the final list of games for the Sega Genesis Mini, and even added an extra surprise: instead of 40 games, Sega went ahead and added 12 more, bringing the total number of Genesis classics to 42.

Among the newly announced games are Road Rash II and the 8MB wonder, Strider. PerhapsĀ even cooler is the addition of games that never officially came to the Sega Genesis, including Monster World IV, Tetris, and Darius. Sega said E3 2019 attendees will be among the first in the world to play the Genesis port of Tetris (Tetris came to the Mega Drive in 1989, but Nintendo had US distribution rights at the time).
