It’s official: Sea of Solitude is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC via EA Origins July 5, 2019.
Originally announced back in 2016, Sea of Solitude is a story-driven adventure game centered on Kay, a young woman navigating a flooded city and her own struggles with loneliness. In a world where loneliness turns humans into monsters, Kay is trying to figure out what caused her to turn and—more importantly—what it takes to be human again.
During her journey, Kay will encounter fantastical creatures and monsters. By getting to know their stories and solving different challenges, she aims to destroy the tainted memories plaguing the world and herself. The water elevation levels and in-game weather are all meant to reflect Kay’s emotions, so you can expect the environment to shift throughout the story.
