Two years ago, back in July 2017, Game of Thrones’ seventh season premiere introduced audiences to a ginger-haired Lannister soldier played by Ed Sheeran. Jump forward to the long-awaited Season 8 premiere, and viewers seem to finally know what happened to that soldier who so charmed Arya Stark.
In the Season 8 premiere, titled “Winterfell,” Bronn is hooking up with three prostitutes who can’t stop talking about the aftermath of the big battle against Daenerys and her dragons from “Spoils of War.” One woman makes the comment about a Lannister soldier named “Eddie,” saying, “That boy Eddie came back with his face burned right off. He’s got no eyelids now.”
