Today, Bethesda finally released The Elder Scrolls: Blades… kind of. The game’s in early access on the iTunes and Google store but it’s not just any kind of early access. It’s more like a closed beta than anything else. The number of players who can actually play the game are limited to those who have signed up for the access (you can do so here) and even then it’s not guaranteed you’ll get a spot soon.
If you download the game, you’ll be treated to a short intro sequence and combat tutorial before being booted out to a login screen for your Bethesda account. You can sign in, but it’s here that you won’t be able to progress if you haven’t been accepted as part of the sign ups.
