Get Out’s Jordan Peele’s newest film, Us, will have its world premiere at South by Southwest (SXSW) this March.
SXSW announced that Us will see its worldwide premiere on opening night of the 26th edition of the SXSW Film Festival on Friday, March 8, 2019, in Austin, Texas.
“We are crazy excited to world premiere the most anticipated film of 2019 from the creative powerhouse the brought us Get Out,” said Janet Pierson, Director of Film. “We honestly couldn’t imagine a more perfect film to kick off the 2019 SXSW Film Festival.”
Us will be director Jordan Peele’s next film following 2017’s Get Out, which also won Peele the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
