Among Trees, revealed as a world premiere at The Game Awards, is a game about survival and wonder set deep in the woods. You start with your own tiny cabin in which you can cook food, avoid dangerous wildlife, and weather mother nature’s wrath. The game allows you to progressively build up your humble dwelling while admiring its lush world.
The trailer shows off a range of wildlife, like rabbits that you might cook for sustenance and bears which might look to you as food. The video also shows off some gorgeous hand drawn-esque landscapes. Though not much of the gameplay was revealed, the trailer definitely sets a awe-inspired mood.
Among Trees, by FJRD Interactive, will be out on Steam early access in 2019.
