Hasbro’s Transformers Trading Card Game rolls out tomorrow, and Game Informer has the first exclusive look at the super rare Bumblebee Legendary Warrior card.
Hasbro’s tagline “Collect! Build! Battle!” captures the spirit of this competitive 2-player card game. An Autobot Starter Set offers a low-hassle launching point, but like most CCGs, players can buy more packs and build their own decks full of either Autobots or Decepticons. Each game allows players to battle rival bots; using battle cards to increase attack, raise defense, or equip upgrades. You can even transform from bot to alt mode by flipping over the character card. Both forms have unique attacks, health, and defense stats, which adds an interesting layer of strategy to the game.
The Bumblebee Legendary Warrior card is super rare and only appears once in about 79 booster packs, but it comes with worthwhile perks. Compared to the Bumblebee character card included with the starter kit, Bumblebee Legendary Warrior has greater attack power, a massive boost in health, and minimal drop in defense. On top of stat changes, this super rare character card gains two additional attack and defense points if the bot is alone on the battlefield and can attack any hostile cards when in alt form.
