Chris Taylor is a fan of Smash Bros. just like the rest of us. He loves Nintendo’s eclectic fighter and has been hotly anticipating the release of Smash Ultimate. Sadly, Chris might not actually make it to the release. Chris, a three-time cancer survivor, was recently diagnosed with a terminal case of cancer. Seeing all the hype that fans were building for games like Smash Ultimate and Devil May Cry 5, he began to worry that he actually wouldn’t get to see the next release of one of his favorite franchises.

After word spread on Reddit from a couple of Chris’s Tweets, Nintendo took notice and granted Chris his dying wish. This morning, the company arrived at Chris’s house with the E3 demo for Smash Ultimate and allowed him to experience the game himself.
