No one expects the Spanish Inquisition. But everyone expects an Ubisoft game to get a season pass.

Just announced today, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is getting “two major storylines with three episodes each” as part of the pass as well as a remaster. The arcs are “Legacy of the Blade” and “Fate of Atlantis,” which deal with the first hero to wield the hidden blade and the legendary sunken city respectively. Blade will drop in December of this year with “six weeks” between episodes. Atlantis is slated for spring 2019 with the same cadence. Ubisoft compares the model to a season of a TV series and calls it their “most ambitious post-launch effort ever.”

Also part of the season pass: Assassin’s Creed III Remastered. It’ll drop in March of 2019 and come with all of the DLC (including the strange Evil George Washington add-on series), as well as 4K/HDR visuals on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X/PC. It’ll also be sold separately. Oh, and they’re lumping in Liberation, which launched exclusively on the Vita in 2012, and saw PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 ports down the line.

The season pass will run you $39.99, and I have to say: along with the promised free content (free episodes, in-game events, another educational discovery tool, and other tidbits) and the two remasters, that doesn’t sound terrible?
