Focus Home Interactive is doing pretty great for itself, enjoying revenue that’s up 23 percent for Q1 2018, which is a decent jump, to say the least. The French publisher just announced its first-quarter revenues for FY 2018/2019, and over the first three months it really racked up the sales, generating €28.5m in revenue, mostly thanks to the dark and brooding RPG Vampyr.

In fact, the game performed well enough to mark a new milestone for the company. One week after Vampyr hit the market, it was the best-selling game in the UK, Germany, and France as well as a smattering of other countries. Further, Focus Home Interactive’s portfolio of other original games like MudRunner and the Platinum version of FS17 made up 29 percent of total sales, as compared to 36 percent from last year. In fact, 90 percent of the company’s total sales now come from international markets.

These impressive numbers for the company will likely only improve going forward, with the second quarter of fiscal 2018-2019 will see the release of new battle royale title Fear The Wolves as well as Insurgency: Sandstorm. The company will have a presence at this year’s Gamescom, which is being held in Cologne, Germany this August. Some heavy hitters will be shown off there, including Call of Cthulhu, Space Hulk: Tactics, and Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2.
