Tonight on Monday Night RAW, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H kicked off the show by heading to the ring for the announcement of the company’s first-ever all-female Superstar PPV/Network event called Evolution.
Both Hunter and Stephanie thanked all the Superstars, across all brands, before announcing the big event, which will feature female Superstars from both the past and present.
Stephanie even brought up the “#GiveDivasaChance” Twitter hashtag from three years ago that started trending after a several televised women’s matches lasted a minute or less – and also after then-Superstar AJ Lee had called out Stephanie on Twitter, demanding that the female wrestlers get equal pay and screen time (though Steph didn’t bring up the latter).
