A Japanese game schedule post, pertaining to Bandai Namco’s excellent Tekken 7, casually makes mention of a second Season Pass, seemingly implying that a new wave of characters and/or features are on the way to the successful sequel.

The scheduling post makes mention of an upcoming “Welcome Price” for the main game – no doubt some kind of price reduction to help a new wave of players come on board for the title’s second year – but also goes on to mention the “second Season Pass that hasn’t been announced yet”. This reveal aligns with the previous news that Tekken-heads found unknown DLC entries, hidden within the PC edition’s code.

Tekken 7’s first Season Pass brought back the popular Tekken Bowling mode from previous entries, as well as guest stars Noctis from Final Fantasy XV and Geese Howard from SNK’s Fatal Fury series. Hopefully more roster additions will be announced soon, with the obvious opportunity being at the EVO 2018 tournament, to be held in Las Vegas next month.
