Blitz Showdown is Fortnite’s newest limited time mode and allows players to win prizes for scoring high.
Similar to the first Fortnite Solo Showdown, players are asked to play 25 matches where your placement and number of kills determine your score. The top 100 players, this time separated by region, will earn V-Bucks.
So what’s different this time? For starters, each region will have its own top 100 players and set of prizes. The two North American servers count as one. This mode is also based on Blitz, a different limited time mode that speeds up storm times and forces you to play at a quicker pace.
